I’m David Thomson, originally from Independence, Kentucky, currently based in Knoxville, Tennessee. I’ve been writing music since the 1980s, blending country, classic rock, and Americana influences to explore themes of love, regret, loss, change, and the hope that tomorrow might be brighter.Alongside my songwriting, I’ve composed works for concert band, instrumental solos, small ensembles, and several piano etudes.My debut full‑length album, Out of Control, was released in 2026. I’m currently working on my follow‑up album, Slide, scheduled for fall 2026.
